UZA(n-m)

UZA(n-m) is an interactive audio-visual installation that combines sound, movement and visuality and is constantly evolving through the contributions of the participants. The audience is not only an observer but also an active part of the work. The work explores the process by which individual sounds and movements are transformed into a collective memory and makes this transformation an experience.

A visual field of particles projected onto the wall invites viewers to present their sounds and/or movements. As participants produce sound, it is recorded into the memory of the work and undergoes visual transformations that reflect the change in that memory. When participants physically reach toward the work, their movement triggers a reshaping of the recorded sounds. The particles come together to form the silhouette of the participant, representing their interaction with the memory.

UZA(n-m), ses, hareket ve görselliği bir araya getiren, katılımcıların katkılarıyla sürekli evrimleşen interaktif bir işitsel-görsel yerleştirmedir. İzleyiciler, bu eserin yalnızca gözlemcisi değil, aktif bir parçası da olurlar. Eser, bireysel seslerin ve hareketlerin kolektif bir hafızaya dönüşme sürecini inceler ve bu dönüşümü bir deneyime dönüştürür. 

Duvara yansıtılan partiküllerden oluşan görsel bir alan, izleyicilere seslerini ve/veya hareketlerini sunmaları için davette bulunur. Katılımcılar ses ürettiğinde, bu ses eserin hafızasına kaydedilir ve görsel dönüşümlere uğrayarak bu belleğin değişimini yansıtır. Eğer katılımcılar fiziksel olarak esere doğru uzanırlarsa, bu hareketleri kaydedilen seslerin yeniden şekillenmesini tetikler. Bu sırada, partiküller bir araya gelerek katılımcının silüetini oluşturur ve bu görsel katılımcının hafızayla olan etkileşimini temsil eder.
